converting wmf to jpg

I downloaded several clips from microsoft and a lot of them were wmf but i
need jpg or jpeg. Is is possible to convert them? My website will not take
wmf? Keep in mind that I am a "dummy" so if possible answer in really plain
language!!

Download the free www.irfanview.com with the plug-ins. Open the .wmf in the
program, save as .jpg
