Converting Word documents

Basic help please on the best way to bring Word documents into a web site
template window? It takes me an hour to clean, adjust, and try to make the
page look proper. There's gotta be a better way!!!

TIA

If it's the Word formatting causing all the extra work, save it as a plaint
text file. (File, Save-As, change the type).
Then open with notepad and copy it in.

Steve,

If you fight the same problems I encounter, there is only on "better way!"
I sense you're probably receiving MS-Word files that were poorly formatted --
inconsistent indention, no tables, screwy fonts, etc.

The better way is to go visit the document originator, providing them some
training on how to use MS-Word. This will make both your and their life
much more simple.

FYI - while in MS-Word, you might try holding down the ALT key,
then hold down the left mouse button while dragging through text
that needs the white space removed (as indentions).

Happy hunting,

Michael
