converting word to works

i have some documents that i have on my work computer that is in word and i
cant open it on my computer at home because i have vista what can i do to
work on these documents in works.

You've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac versions of Word (not
your fault: it's a charming foible of Microsoft's web interface, which I
guess you used). Mac versions differ variously from PC versions -- for
example, Works is not available on the Mac. Although several people here use
both PCs and Macs and may give you an answer soon, it's likely that more
people in a PC group have experienced your specific problem. Here's where
