converting write now 3.0 to word

i need to upgrade my mac performa with write now 3.0
files to this century. since my family also uses a pc
with microsoft word on it i would like to convert write
now 3.0 files to word files so that i can move files from
computer to computer. operating Mac OS 9 .

anyone have the answer for how i (close to computer
illiterate, need to be told step by step) could
accomplish this?

also, if i need word to be installed on the macintosh
performa first, do i need to purchase word especially for
that or (since we have word on the PC) would the company
provide me with another word version that would work on
the macintosh

Hi Steve,

MacLinkPlus Deluxe by DataViz
(<http://www.dataviz.com/products/maclinkplus/>) says it will convert from
Write Now 3.0 files to PC Word files. I've never used this (highly
respected) software myself so I don't know if you have to go through MacWord
to get to PC Word. Maybe someone else will. (If it is necessary to have
MacWord, however, then you would have to purchase it.) I suggest you spend
some time on the DataViz website to research it.
