Converting

I would like to know how to convert Micrografx
Flowcharter 7.0 files or Igrafx Flowcharter 2003 files to
Visio. I have downloaded the program that does this,
although it does not work with the newer Igrafx
Flowcharter 2003 software as it is 'unable to create and
instance of Micrografx Flowcharter', although Igrafx
Flowcharter 2003 is just the later version of the
Micrografx product.

Hi Jeremy,

Microsoft does not provide converters from these applications into Visio.
There may be a solution provider that has built such a tool.

Thankyou for your reply. Is it possible that Microsoft
will be releasing a convertor as they did for the
previous version? (the previous converter can be found
at - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?
ReleaseID=24487)

There are no plans at this time. Visio has released a framework for
converting files in an out of the Visio format in order to make it easier
for others to write such converters.
