Coordinate fill colors between Excel & Word

How do you coordinate fill colors between Excel & Word? i.e. have the exact
same shade of a chart/graph match the same shade in a Word document.

In either application, you should be able to select any of the standard
colors from the standard chart and then choose the same one in the other
app. If you're using a custom color (from the More Colors... dialog), note
the RGB measurements in one app and duplicate them in the other.

Word has RGB values but I can't find RGB values in Excel, only gradients.
Does any one know how to access RGB values for charts/graphs in Excel?

I missed that you were talking about charts. I checked on this, and
apparently charts (Excel or Word) don't have the same (24-bit) color range
as drawing objects, nor are there color names (as ScreenTips in the color
charts), but both Word and Excel appear to have the same color chart, so it
should be possible to select a color from the same position on the chart and
use the same fill effect.
