coping an appointment to another calendar

I just switched from a gmail account to a google apps account. When I did
so, and installed the google apps sync program, it opened up and installed
another outlook into my computer. It transfered all of my calendar/contacts
and mail into the "new" outlook, and everything seems to be working fine
EXCEPT:

When I try to click and drag or edit/copy to folder one appointment into one
of the other calendars under "my calendars" I get the error message below:

The folders you are trying to change do not support this operation. Could
not complete the operation because the service provider does not support it.

Help!! Are they saying it's because of the google apps program..??

Ps..using windows 7, and outlook 2007

It sounds like google apps is 1 way sync, from google to outlook.

It's not a one way sync...everything is syncing both ways but before I put
the google apps sync on, I was able to click on an appointment, and drag it
to another calendar in outlook, it would copy it onto my other calendar.
When I then synced, it would sync both calendars to my google calendars.
Now, it is telling me in outlook that I can not click and drag to another
calendar at all, within outlook.

It sounds like google apps is 1 way sync, from google to outlook.

If it worked before you installed google apps sync and doesn't after it was
installed, how is it a problem with outlook? Have you contacted google apps
or your email administrator about it?

Why type of "another outlook" did google install on your computer?

BTW - if you'd spend a little time in the google apps forum and search for
the error message (rather than blaming outlook) you'd discover its not
supported by google apps:

Using Edit, Copy to folder might work.

Diane,
I'm not sure why you got defensive. I am not blaming outlook for anything,
in fact, in my original post, I asked if this error message I am getting is
due to the google apps sync. I am not an expert, that is why I'm coming to
the forum... to get answers or suggestions. I have also done research, and
asked the same questions over at the google site.
That being said, unfortunately neither of those links you suggested seems to
help me. One is for mail not calendering, and the other is how to resolve
moving calendar items in google calendar, not moving the item in outlook.
Thank you for trying though.
