I have office 2007 for both Excel and Access.... 2003 Excel only had 65K
lines, not that it has 1M.... I am trying to copy an Access 2007 file that
has 500K lines,,, I get a message that I have exceeded the 65,000 lines on
the clipboad.... any suggestions

Instead of "copying", consider using the Access "Export" feature.

Hmmm?

How are you trying to export? I don't believe I've seen the "clipboard"
message when I export...

I suppose there could be a built-in limit. If there is, have you considered
appending fewer than the limit repeatedly until all are exported?

I am prett new to Acces DB, could you explain what you mean by appending
fewer than the limit repeatedly???
Thanks

By analogy ...

If you had to use a one gallon bucket to fill a 100 gallon tub, you'd do it
one gallon at a time.

Can you create a query that returns less than the limit you're seeing, run
it once and export. Then run it again for a new batch of records to export,
and so on...?
