Coping formated cells to another location

I have formated cells that contain the results of a
formula.
I want to copy the results (copy/paste) from one worksheet
to another and KEEP the results. when I copy and paste,
the information is left behind and I get a #valid error.

Exact situation:

CELL G3 is formatted as: =sum(c3+d3)-f3
Where c3 is $500.00 D3 is $610.00 and F3 is $12.00
The display in G3 is correct $598.00

When i copy and paste to another location in the wookbook
I get a #Valid error and $598.00 is NOT carried over and
displayed.

Joef, First, copy the values, then when you paste, right
click and choose "Paste Special", then choose values.
this way, only the values will be moved.
