Copy a page as a picture

Please help!

Is there a way to copy the page header and footer along
with the entire formatted contents of a page?

My objective is to make an exact copy of the page the way
it would look printed only copied to a new document as a
picture.

Your example code would be most appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

Two methods I've used, depending on how good an image is needed. (Neither is
very gracious nor amenable to automation.)

1. Display the page in print preview, as large as you can fit on your
monitor. Then press Ctrl-PrintScreen. That copies the screen image to the
clipboard. Paste into a graphics program, clip, save as GIF, then import
into your document.

2. Create a special version of the document with the headers and footers
within the body of the document. Then use Insert > Object > Create From
File. I've found I get a better result linking to the original rather than
embedding it.

The second approach is graphically superior.
