I have an excel spread sheet that has 25709 line items in
it. For three years I have not had a problem doing three
filters and then copying the information into a new spread
sheet. Suddenly when I try to preform a filter on one of
the columns in my spread sheet I get this
message "Microsoft Excel Cannont create or use the data
range reference because it is too complex. Try on or more
of the following: Use data that can be selected in on
contiguous rectangle or use the data from the same sheet."
Again I have done this filter for the past three years to
sort out the data I want to capture and it works fine. Is
there a limit as to how much data excel can copy at one
time? Is there a place where you can specify the limits
for this feature?
Thanks,
