copy all the contents of my secondary datasource in my primary

Hi,

I have some probleme how can copy all the content of my secondary data
source to my primary datasource?

My idea it's that I receive a xml in a shared folder and after I have
to populate my form and make some change but I have to keep the data
from the secondary DS for that he can be send by e-mail.

Mr. Collins have say me that I can do a rules on the onafterchange for
that copy my content of the secondary to the primary. I don't know how
to do I have try but I don't understand. It's a good idea but some
field in the secondary DS don't change and has to be to my primary DS.
Have some idea of how I can do that?
