Copy and paste from web

Using Word 2003 I used to be able to copy and paste addresses directly
from the web but this no longer works and Word hangs. Does anyone know
if this is a setting that needs adjusting or is it a firewall issue?
(I'm using McAfee Internet Security 7 by the way).
Any help is gratefully received.
