copy and paste greyed out

The client is unable Copy\Paste in any application. She can highlight data,
select Edit - Copy or even do CTRL+C, but Edit - Paste is greyed out. It does
not paste if she CTRL+V either.

She is using office 2003 and ie vs 6.
