Copy and Paste HELP!

I am new to Infopath, so this is hopefully simple.

I am trying to make a form for my boss that will display many supplements
for his patients. Next to these supplements are drop down boxes. In the drop
down boxes are dosages. I need to copy and paste the dosage box for about 80
rows. Every time I copy and paste the drop down boxes are 'binding'.
therefore the result in one, is displayed in both that boax and the
subsequent boxes. Surely there is a better way than retyping out the values
in the list 80 times, or renaming each one and re-setting what the box is
bound to. Thanks for the help everyone!

thanks again

create a table for your values and link the drop down to that table rather
than copy and paste.

You can do in Access, SQL or XML

Hi

Simplest way to create the table mentioned by Art (that can be used many
times) is to create a table in Access with the dosages on. Save it and then
right click on the saved item and select to save as .XML.

With that done use your infopath form to add a new data connection from the
tools menu and select an XML File. Browse to your file then OK out of there
until it asks whether you want to add the .XML file to the template
permanently, click yes and then you go into the properties of the first drop
down box. Select the thrid of the three options to lokkup data in a data
connection. select your .XML file then the dosage field and OK out and then
you have the job done. Repeat until all the boxes are done.

Cheers Adam
