Copy and Paste Problems

I am trying to copy a large amount of shapes (100) and lines (50) from one
page in my Visio 2003 drawing to anouther page. When I do the paste operation
nothing shows up. I can paste it as a picture which means the copy function
is working. I can also copy and past smaller groups of 10 to 20 items. Is my
file corrupted or is this normal behaviour?

Can you copy and paste the entire page? Control-A, copy then paste? Can you paste to the
original page?

Is there one particular shape that could be causing a problem? Can you copy the whole
page?
Do you have layers on the destination page with visiblity turned off?

If the shapes are actually pasted but very small, invisible or just in an unexpected place
then you should be able to find them using the drawing explorer - menu View -> Drawing
Explorer.

All of the above can give a clue to what is happening.
