Copy and paste the cell boarder only not the content

I'm using Xcel2010. I have formated the cells boarder based on the content of those cells. Now I want to copy and paste the boarder formate of those cells to another sheet but not the content of the cells so be able to enter new values. So I'm looking for paste boarder only.

"Format" doesn't work. It will copy blank cells without any content and boarders. If I type the same data as was in the original cells, then the boarder start showing up. Just a reminder that I used "formating" to make different boarders for each cell based on the content of that cell. What I'm looking is to keep the format of the boarders but break the tie between the boarder and content as was created. (something exactly opposite of paste "Value" only that breaks the tie between the value and the formula that made thevalue and only give you the exact value).

This suggests the borders happen via Conditional Formatting and if so
then you need to copy the CF formula and apply it to the target cells
via the CF dialog.
