copy and pasting pictures

hey,
does anyone know how to copy and paste pictures from Safari onto Word
using the ctrl+ C and Ctrl+v shortcut keys??? when i use this to copy
and paste pictures, the only thing that pastes is the address of the
picture.
HELP???!!!

When you do Edit>Paste Special> ... In Word, what options are offered?

In Safari, you have to explicitly "Copy Picture" (Right-click and choose
copy picture) or you will not have the picture on the clipboard, only its
URI.

Then, in Word, you have to choose Edit>Paste Special>Picture or you will not
bring the picture back from the clipboard.

And then, of course, you can't actually "use" the picture anywhere else,
because it's copyright. But that may not be a concern :)

I mention this in case you're recently arrived from the Dark Side (in which
case, welcome!): the modifier key for the commands you mentioned is
"Command", not the "Control" key as on the PC.
