Copy data from field to new field on new record

Ben

I have a form that has a bunch of fields.

TicketsCarriedOver (number)
TicketsCarriedForward (number)

When I open the form, and go to a new (blank) record, I want to copy the
TicketsCarriedForward number to the TicketsCarriedOver field from the
previous record.

For example -- Record 1 of 1 has Tickets Carried Over = 3 and Tickets
Carried Forward = 6. When I go to a new record, the new record should show
Tickets Carried Over = 6 and Tickets Carried Forward = null.
Please help.

An Access table is just a bucket of data; there is no order. The concept of
"previous" record or "last" record doesn't exit. You have to have a field in
your records that will allow Access to identify the "last" record, such as a
date/time field or an incrementing ID number. Do you have something like that?

Yes, I have a field called SupportID (Autonumber PK)

Since I have that, how can i do it?
