Copy data from one field to another

In Word 2003 how can I place multiple fields in a document so that when one
is populated they are all populated with the same value?

To make things a bit more tricky, can each instance have different
formatting? For example, if I type 4/16/04 in one date field can I make
another field appear as Friday, April 16, 2004? (These dates have to be
entered manually and will never be today's date.)

happened, and many people have ended up looking very silly, or dead, or
both, trying."

Wowbanger,

You could bookmark your first date entry (call it MyDate or whatever) the
use REF fields with switches. So your example would be { REF MyDate \@
"dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy }.

You could be more robust by making your your reference date a DOCPROPERTY
and using DOCPROPERTY fields.
