Copy event to another date

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

When using outlook 2007 I could copy an event in the calender to another date, is this possible to do the same things in Entourage.

If it is could someone tell me how (I am new to Mac and Entourage

Any help, advice and info would be gratefully accepted.

Cut/copy/paste all work, clicking once on the event in the calendar's
grid view will highlight it. You can also drag it to another date.

You can also open it up and change the date.

Thanks for the reply Adam:

Unfortunately I can not seem to get the copy, paste to work.
I single clicked the event as you stated. I went to "edit" and I found that the copy, paste where unhighlight-able and as such I could not copy and paste the event to another date?

That's odd because mine are all available. Are you viewing the calendar
in grid view? Are you sure you are highlighting individual calendar
entries as opposed to just the day?

Also make sure you just click once and don't have a blinking cursor -
if you click twice you'll end up editing the name and then you can't
copy/paste because you no longer have anything highlighted.

And you can Option-drag an event from one part of the calendar to
another to copy it there.
