Copy from one table to another

I am new to access! Can anyone tell if you can copy from
one table to another. My table are set up identical with
the same charateristics for each column - date/time or
text. I am trying to combine two tables that pertain to
two different ciies within our company. The contain the
same type of information.

If the two tables are identical in their structure, you can achieve what you
need with an Append query, or with the good old Copy...Paste Append.

Why are the tables "identical"? Are you trying to combine data into a
single table, and throw out one?
