Have you set up the new mail account in the same Outlook instance that
contains your aol account?
ie you now have two accounts set up

The new account is in it own profile? (you need to close outlook and reopen to switch accounts.) Are the AOL contacts in the contacts folder with your mail or do you use contacts stored on the AOL server?

If they are in the Contacts folder in your AOL profile (and you are using two profiles) you can export from the AOL profile and import it into the new profile.

If the two accounts are in the same Outlook instance then your Contacts are
all there
How exactly are you accessing the Contacts?

Describe exactly how you "made a new email account" in Outlook because your
Contacts should be constant no matter you many accounts you create. They're
in your Contacts folder.

So that's a new Outlook Profile - NOT a new mail account.
Different Outlook Profiles use separate pst files. Is that what you wanted
to do, or did you just want to add a new email account to your existing
profile?
