Copy-OK but "Paste" not operative

I can drag and SAVE, but when I go to Microsoft Word the
PASTE option is not active (available) ????
Have reloaded Word, no help????

Hi Larry,

I'm not sure what you mean with "drag and SAVE".

If you have used "Drag and drop" to create some scratch file, you could try
to drag and drop that scratch file into a document. "Edit > Paste" won't
work for this.

Or copy something in the original application to the clipboard (say with
Ctrl+C), and you should be able to paste it in Word.

Do you have Word as part of Works Suite? If so, one of the many unpleasant
habits of the Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word is to clear the
Clipboard when you start Word. If you're running Word freestanding (not
loading it from the Works Task Launcher), you can uninstall the add-in
(through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs) and never miss it.
