COPY ONENOTE PROJECTS from one pc to another pc

i have just upgraded my laptop and want to copy all of my existing onenote
content to the new laptop. i cannot find an export import tool...do i just
copy "my notebook" from old laptop to new laptop...?
thnx for any assistance.

Yes, that's the way to do it.

You should be able to just copy your "My Notebook" folder. That will get the
vast majority of your content. The only things that won't get are notebooks
you have specifically stored somewhere else and your backups. You can find
out where your backups are by going to Tools--> Options, backup tab.

Oh, just thought of one other thing: If you have stored any notebooks on USB
or other shared device drives, you will want to make sure you sync those
notebooks before you move them.

However, the biggest thing you need to watch out for is to make sure that
you do the copy with OneNote closed. That way, everything you need to access
won't be in use by OneNote at the time you move it.
