copy outlook 2000 folders to outlook 2007 on another computer

How do I copy all the folders, messages and addresses/contacts from outlook
2000 on my old computer to outlook 2007 on my new computer (I have an
external hard drive).

Close Outlook, copy your PST file to the new PC, open Outlook, then
File, Data file management, Data files, Open folder,

Just copy your .PST file to the external hard drive, then open that .PST

Now then....after you do that I would copy the items from your old PST to a
new PST file on the new machine because a Unicode PST file (Outlook
2003/2007) is more robust and reliable than the old binary PST files
(earlier verisons of Outlook) is.
