copy part of table into new table

Hi there,
I need to copy part of a table into a new table.
In other words i will highlight a number of rows in a table. I would like
to then hit the "Make new table" button and have these highlighted rows be
copied into a new table along with the column names, and datatypes.

I see that I can copy and paste these rows into a new datasheet, but the
column names are lost. However I can paste the same info into a web
textarea, and the column names are there alogn with the data.

Any bright ideas??
thanks a lot!

Hello,

Can you access the rows you want using a query? If you
can run a make table query against your source table and
use criteria to get to the rows you want.

yes i can access the table. The criteria will be "higlighted rows". Is
that enough to make a table?
