Copy/Paste and Column Width

Whenever I copy/paste a range of cells from one worksheet to another,
everything is copied except the column widths.

Isn't there a way to have the column widths copied as well, without
having to select the whole worksheet first before copying/pasting?

Thanks,
Domenic

Column width is a property of the Column, not of individual cells, so in
versions prior to XL04, you can copy the entire column (select the
column header in the source).

In XL04, the Paste Options smart button appears when you paste, which
allows you to choose Keep Source Column Width from its pop-up menu.

Oh, I see. That makes sense.

Nice.

That's great! Thanks JE!

Cheers!
