Copy & Paste drop down boxes

I need to insert screen prints of computer applications
into a user manual I'm working on. How do I get the drop
down menus to stay "dropped down" when I do an Alt-Prnt
Scrn to copy the screen?

(As soon as I press Alt, the drop down menu disappears.)

Any help is appreciated!

Only tapping the Print Screen without the ALT key works here.

You may want to consider a dedicated screen capture program such as SnagIt
(www.techsmith.com), which allows you to capture menus, mouse pointers,
scrolling page and dropdowns, and a host of other views beyond just the
entire screen or the active window.

That worked like a charm. Thanks so much for the tip!

(Good to know about the SnagIt program as well!)
