Copy/Paste Excel Plots

Why is that when you paste a plot from Excel to any other Office app the
plots don't retain their proportionate sizes? Is there a way to prevent
this?

What I mean is that everything gets screwed up when you do this... instead
of copying like a picture (and doing that explicitly doesn't help either).

Using Excel 2002...
