In Office v. X, Word allowed me to copy a number of lines that contained
form fields (some text, some check boxes) and paste it into another Word
document, with the information in those form fields as part of the copy.
The source document had to be set to ³unprotected² first, so that I could do
the copy, but it worked fine. The content of the form fields came over,
too.
Word 2004 doesn¹t seem to work that way. Paste doesn¹t insert the form
field content. No option of ³paste special² seems to work either.
Advice, suggestions? Preference setting that I¹m missing? This is a very
handy feature for me, and I would hate to lose it.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
