Copy-Paste from browsers (IE vs firefox and others)

J

Jonas Hei

When I copy and paste something from IE it works fine (that is, there is a
link below the pasted text which indicates the source URL).

However, when I copy it from some other browser like Mozilla Firefox there
is no link indicating the source URL...
Any chance that it can get fixed?

As you've noted, OneNote works best with Internet Explorer. Firefox,
especially on a Tablet PC has "issues" like not identifying itself properly
for context tagging so users can input URLs with the Tablet Input Panel.
When corners are cut, it affects the way the browser reacts with other
programs.

FireFox does not add the source URL to the clipboard, so OneNote has nothing
to paste...
