Copy & Paste function

I Recently bought a copy of MS Office 2003, and find that
the copy and past function does not activate in the
document I'm working on, Is this an operator prob? is it
a Program fault? I know it's probably me, but i've been
using office 2000 for a few years now, so I can't be all
that stupid (I think) anyone have any suggestions? Feel

The only Paste issues I know of are these:

1. The Blaster worm (among other effects) causes Copy, Cut, and Paste not to
work, but this is true across all applications, which doesn't appear to be
the case here.

2. The Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word clears the Clipboard on
starting Word, but since you have Office and not Works Suite, this is
clearly not the issue here.
