I have an elementary question about copy & paste. How do you copy and
paste a vector illustration in a Word document? The answer is
straight- forward on the simplest level. The tricky part comes in
embedding the graphic from Adobe Illustrator.
My scenario revolves around emailing a Word document with my resume.
Generally, a PDF file represents the best format for presenting this
document. With Acrobat, you can output a PDF file from any application
even Word. But some people still require Word documents rather than
PDF files. Some job boards only want html or text versions. So I am
creating various versions of my resume to accommodate everybody's
requirements.
Several questions due come to mind.
Can you embed fonts in a Word document?
Can you default to a san-serif font like CSS?
Font-family: 'Lucida Sans', Arial, Verdana, san-serif;
What is the best method for importing graphic from Illustrator?
Remember the document must be viewable on a computer without the fonts
and Illustrator installed. Let me know if you could provide any
insight.
