I'm not a vim user, but just for a laugh I tried it and it sort of
works. Select all and copy seems to get the whole terminal session,
including what went on before invoking vim. It pastes OK if you don't
mind the rest of the rubbish and a closing pile of vim's ~s and an
~~INSERT~~ at the end. Selecting just the text of the document in vim
and pasting that into Word seems to do the right thing.
I often use aquamacs emacs with copy and paste special text only into
word, and that works beautifully.
