copy & paste issue

Ever since installing Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.4 Update, I
have not been able to paste into a Word document or an Entourage email
material copied from an email or my browser (Safari). Nor can I paste
material into an Entourage email which has been copied from a Word
document - but I can paste material copied from Safari. I can see the
material copied in the Mac OSX clipboard - it just won't paste.

Has anyone else had this problem? Are there solutions?

Ummm.... That's an old Word X bug. Word 2004 is not supposed to be able to
do it!!

The cure in those days was to re-install Internet Explorer 5.1 because the
HTML mechanism in Microsoft Office used components of it.

That's no longer true, so that's not going to work. Sorry: I have no
idea...

The only thing I can suggest is that you run the Microsoft Office Remover
tool from your Microsoft Office folder, then re-install.

Since finding that the copy and paste function is disabled when copying
from browsers or emails, I've discovered that the work-around is to use
'Paste Special'.
