Copy / Paste of OWC Charts

Solutions to this issue seem thin on the ground in this newsgroup.
I am required to allow a web page be Copy/Pasted from browser to Word
document. This page includes a Pie chart created with OWC12 in IE7 on
Windows XP running Office 2003, MS Word build 11.8125.8122 SP2.
On my computer the pie chart copies perfectly from browser to
document, yet on a colleague machines the web component pastes itself
as the uninitiated activex component.
We run the same version of all the above softwares.

Can anyone help me identify why would we have different experiences in
making this copy paste work?

That seems like an OS issue to me at first glance. Other than that, compare
the security settings in browser for each machine to see if something is
different.
