copy/paste problem

If I highlight, and copy something from email or the
internet and then open Word blank document, the paste
option is not available until I save the blank document.
Is there a way to get this changed? Thanks.

If you have Word as part of Works Suite, uninstall the Microsoft Works Suite
Add-in for Word. One of its many nasty habits is clearing the Clipboard when
you start Word.
