COPY PASTE TEXT ALIGNMENT BECOMES LOST

D

Dom

I give up. I've read and searched without finding an answer.
I would like to copy centered and color formated text from word pad
and paste into onenote. When I do this all text goes to the right margin.
Is there any way to copy/paste or center entire paragraphs of text in
onenote? thanks, Dominique

See the list of shortcut key-combinations (second item in the "?"
[Help] menu).

I'm not sure why the alignment isn't retained (it went to the left margin
on my machine when I pasted some sample text from Wordpad).

You can set the alignment post-paste in OneNote by using Ctrl-E to center.
Ctrl-L and Ctrl-R also work for left/right justification.
