I would like to see a utility based in OneNote that will copy text from any
window or panel then paste it into the last active OneNote page or a new
sidenote page.
There is a legacy program called ECCO that does this now with a utility
called Shooter. A small "shooter" arrow is displayed on the title bar of any
active application/window next to the min/max icons on the right of the bar.
Select text in the window, click the arrow, and the text (not an image of the
text) is copied to the cursor position of the last active ECCO view. Seems to
me if they could do this in 1992 and it still works with XP then it could be
done now for OneNote.
