Hello Babs,
The Legend is generated for printing purposes so the copy picture button
cannot capture it. A couple of options:
You could show the project file in print preview and then Print screen
(PrtScn button on your keyboard) to send a picture of your screen to the
Windows clip board. You can then Paste the image into the word file.
However, I find the picture quality is not terrific and the text is very
difficult to read.
If you have a screen capture program such as SnagIt, you can capture
only the legend portion of the print preview screen with very good
results. You can then save the image and insert into your destination
file or, with SnagIt, actually drop it directly into a document from the
program.
If you have a program which creates PDF files, you could print to the
PDF file and then insert the PDF file into the word or excel document.
