Using Microsoft Word 2002 (10.6764.6735) SP3.
I have one document with revision text marked in it (additions and
deletions). I want to move this text to another document and retain the
revised text marked as it is in the original document. Seems like I've done
this before, but it doesn't work now.
If the second document has tracking turned on, all the moved text is marked
as an addition (deleted text is gone). This is what I would expect.
If the second document has tracking turned off, all the moved text is
unmarked (deleted text is gone). This is not what I expected. Seems like
before, it would copy over with the same markings. I've included paragraph
marks with the move and included section marks with the move and see no
difference. Also, when I move with the section marking, the default move is
now "Match destination formating" instead of "Keep source formating."
What do I need to do?
Thanks for your help
