Copying a Custom Menu

I am using Word 2003 and have created a custom menu on the menu bar in a
template. Can anyone tell me wether it is possible to copy this to another
template as you can with styles and autotext using the organiser?

Yes, sort of, you can't do it directly since you can only copy toolbars
using the Organizer. What you need to do is create a temporary toolbar that
contains your custom menu so it can be copied between templates. Create a
custom toolbar in your template and copy your custom menu to the custom
toolbar (hold CTRL while dragging the menu to the toolbar to copy it instead
of move it) then after you copy the custom toolbar to your other template,
move the menu from the toolbar to the menu bar and delete the custom
toolbar.
