I have an Access database file I'm copying from my laptop to the network.
I'm using a batch file with the command "copy YCTv4_041603.mdb
z:\jd_YCTv4_041603.mdb /y"
When I try and open the file once it's on the server I get an error message
that says "Unrecognized database format 'Y:\jd_YCTv4_041603.mdb'."
I can't think of what would change the file format just copying it from one
PC to another.
Is "Copy" having a hard time dealing with the long file name?
The file size seems to stay the same.
The laptop is running Win XP, the server Win 2000 and my desktop PC Win XP.
Both PCs have Access 2000 installed.
Any ideas would be appreciated.....
Thanks
Kelvin
