copying a figure from Excel into a Word document?

I need to place figures that are in an Excel workbook into a Word document.
When I copy and paste, the figure does not look the same (appears that parts
are text boxes that have shrunk) but if I expand them they will no longer fit
where they belong) and does not fit within the printable area of the page. I
assume there is a way to accomplish this without having to do major
reconstruction. Can anyone offer words of advice? Thanks.

Hi frangardengirl,

Save the Excel file as a webpage. The pictures will be saved separately. You
can insert them in Word by Insert | Picture > From File...
I hope this is not too much a major reconstruction.
