Can you network a Mac and a PC to copy an Excel file from the Mac to
the PC and have that file function properly in Excel on the PC?

Hi,

Yes, the file format for Mac and Windows Excel is the same so it will work
on both platforms. Just be sure the file name has the .xls extension on it.

For more information on networking the two platforms together, google "MAC &
PC Networking" or something to that effect!

As Jim Gordon mentioned, please ensure that you remember to put in the .xls

My mother still (after several years) still forgets to leave the extension
in and works out why window cannot open it straight away.

(she highlights the whole file name and just replaces it.)

;-) Bless her!
