Copying a Row to a Column

Is there an automated way to copy the data values in a row
(ordered left to right) to a series of data values in the
same order (top to bottom) in a column?

Edit>Paste Special...in the dialog box near the bottom, place a check in the
Transpose box.

Let's say the range is A1:A1
Select A2:A10
Copy
Select B1
Edit/Paste Special/Transpose

If you click on paste special there is a command to
transpose the data. This should work for you.
