Copying data - Excel 2007

I am experiencing several seconds delays when trying to copy data in Excel
2007.
Same problem whether right clicking and copying, Ctrl + C copying and
copying from icon in the top toolbar.
Is there a fix for this problem?

I can't duplicate this problem. What's you're hardware? And what programs
are open concurrently?

I think that the problem is old hardware - thanks for you message.
I have tried the same on my new laptop and didnt have the same problem
