copying data to another sheet using a macro

Have a data log in a front sheet, which is autofiltered so that it shows
only data that matches the criteria set. Want to copy the autofiltered
cells to another sheet to create another log with the pasted values
only. I then want the new log to recognise that this data was pasted
over together, so I can tell what the matches were at this time.

How do I get the macro to know which cells to copy and paste, and also
to paste them to the next available row on the new log?
