Copying Emails to Archive Folder

One of my users is getting the following error messages when copying emails
to their archive (pst) folder:

Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. It was either already
moved or deleted, or access was denied.

I've searched TechNet, however I can only find solutions for the emails
containing attachments. The user is having problems with all emails.

Any suggestions please?

Nisha, the referenced web site may not provide an answer (it didn't for me).
However, one possible reason is that the archive .pst file has become too
large. With recent service packs, once you reach about 1.8G Outlook stops
allowing additional entries (this avoids going over the 2G limit where your
user would no longer have access and would be involved in complex techniques
to reduce the file size while possibly losing some data).

To find out the size open the properties of the Archive and check file size
(right click on archive while in Outlook, choose Properties, choose file
size). If you see a file size of around 1.8G this may be your problem.

You might try logging out of Outlook, renaming the archive.pst file (i.e. to
archive1.pst), set Outlook to open archive1.pst as well as archive.pst.

When you first log back on Outlook won't find an archive.pst file to open,
but the first time you do an archive it will create one, and the next time
you open it will find it.
